Since re-opening the bar in July, we have taken every precaution to ensure the safety & wellbeing of both our staff and customers. During the initial lockdown we took the opportunity to completely redecorate the venue, both front & rear of house and then added the perspex shields, sanitising units, signage, one-way systems and installed a Virtual Check-in for anyone who entered the building. We have also dramatically reduced the capacity of the bar from 189 to 64 customers allowing for 1 metre distancing between groups, whilst eating & drinking in the bar safely.
During the recent closure of venues in Aberdeen we have reviewed all of our procedures and will continue providing a safe & clean environment for our customers to enjoy and for our team to make you welcome.
All that we ask is that you abide by the guidelines and listen to our staff, who are here to help keep you safe.
Personal Wellbeing :
Prior to arriving at the bar, please ensure that you and all members of your party are aware of the current & most up to date Government Guidelines.
If you are feeling ill or experiencing any symptoms for Covid-19, please do not come to visit the bar & strictly follow the Government guidelines in respect to isolating and testing.
Seating Arrangements :
Our tables and chairs have been located at the required safe distancing and should not be moved or pushed together at any time. If required, ask a member of staff and we can accommodate tables of maximum 6 people, but guests can be from no more than 2 households.
Virtual Check-In :
We have operated a virtual check-in system since reopening in July, however it is mandatory that all guests must check-in and provide contact details in order to provide these to NHS Trace & Protect should this be required. This can be done manually with a member of staff, should you not have a suitable mobile device.
Use of our Toilet Facilities :
Please follow the signage and our one-way system which is clearly marked on the floor. We are operating a maximum of 2 guests in each toilet (Male & Female) at one time.
All guests are asked to sanitise their hands on entering & before leaving the building at the dispenser inside the main entrance door. We also ask that guests sanitise their hands on entering and leaving the toilet facilities at the station positioned there.
Table Service Only :
Upon entry wait for a member of staff, who will show you to your table and will then take your order and serve you throughout your visit. There is strictly no bar service for customers who are not seated.
Some Important House Rules :
Be Polite - Please ensure you are considerate to other customers & abide by the guidance you receive from our great staff. They are looking after you!!
Behave - Abusive behaviour will not be tolerated and if continued after an initial "quiet word", you may be asked to leave.
Keep It Down - Normally at McNastys we want to hear you loud & clear.....that's the atmosphere we love. But we all now have to understand that for the moment things just need to be a little quieter.
RESPECT EACH OTHER AND STAY SAFE
